dr. Catherine Maillet

Catherine Maillet is an Associate Professor in the Management Accounting and Audit Department at the ESCP-EAP Paris campus. She earned her Doctorate from the university of Paris-IX Dauphine.

She is a Chartered Accountant, Commissaire aux Comptes. Prior to joining ESCP-EAP she worked for seven years with Ernst and Young then Price Waterhouse in Paris. She is member of the “Association Francophone de Comptabilité.”

She teaches financial accounting, International Financial Reporting, IFRS and financial communication and tax auditing. She teaches in different programs, primarily for the Master Grande Ecole, MBA and executive education programs. Professor Maillet is in charge of the option “audit financier et organisationnel”.

Her research focuses on aspects of international accounting harmonization as well as on international taxation. She is author or co-author of several books on the above mentioned topics.
