Francesco Farruggia is the founder of Grupo Meeting, the great marketing editorial company who made in the 80’s and 90’s most part of the promotions and add-ons base don combinatory games and partworks. Francesco Farruggia is also the founder and senior partner of TP&Associates, an Spanish marketing consultant Company specialized on getting incremental copies and profits for newspapers through add-ons or brand extension programmes. He runs the strategies and business models and follows the Latin American market.
Mr. Farruggia has a lot of experience running marketing projects along with newspapers and magazines. He has coordinated the first add-on operation in the European market and has collaborated with the most efficient newspaper of Europe in this kind of operation: El Mundo (Spain).
The add-on business with newspaper represents today a profit of 400 million euros in Italy and 200 million euros in Spain.
