Gérald Ariano

Gérald Ariano is an all-round journalist, he began his career in radio at 16 years old when he has on NRJ Côte d'Azur where he played numbers on demand. Fascinated by the world of television he decided to move to Paris to try his luck. In Paris, it was Patrice Blanc Francard that opened his doors of the studios of television by offering Gérald Ariano to host the daily live show Zapping Zone on the Disney Channel. He retained control of the show for 9 years and received major renown among his viewers.

Gérald Ariano is convinced that new technologies are the future of television, this is why he joined TF1 in 2004 to work on the websites of TV reality shows (La Ferme Celebrity - Secret Story - Star Academy). He began first a journalist and became later the deputy editor, while continuing to lead the scenes of reality TV shows for the site.

In 2008, TF1 decided to focus on the environment. Together with Patrice Kac, he co-wrote Ushuaia.com, the site's sustainable development group. The task for Gerald Ariano was to bring his knowledge to the site of the television to achieve a global media. In addition of being the deputy editor, he is also responsible for audiovisual productions and has several programs which are set by the chains of the group. This is the case with 'La Terre et nous, le mag' (The Earth and us) on TV Ushuaia and he broadcasts 'Ushuaia Terre' on LCI Radio.

Gérald has a wide experience as a presenter and facilitator at conferences and events. In 2006 and 2008 he was the presenter at Mairie d'Ozoir-la-Ferrière, where he presented the evening wishes of mayor Jean-François Oneto. In 2008 he also presented the Grand Amphithéâtre of the Sorbonne at the Académie de Paris.

Besides his employability as a presenter, facilitator and journalist, he is also available for media trainings.
